Hi! New to FL!

Hey! I am moving the Ft. Myers area in September and have become addicted to kite boarding up here in MI. I hope to meet a lot of you when I finally come down! I'll be in the area July 10-13 and am bringing my kites, so if y'all could do me a favor and call me with wind and water updates, or to show me some sweet kiting spots, that would be GREAT! 616-617-7239 Thanks so much and I hope to see all of you out on the water!

Most in this sub-part of the forum live in the St. Pete/Tampa/Sarasota area..

check the Southwest sub-forum for those in Ft. Myers.. they might be able to give you the full scoop on riding spots and conditions down there..

unfortunately.. the wind is gone for a few months in Florida beyond the occasional catch of a seabreeze or the insanity of a hurricane passing nearby (yikes!!)..

You'll be here in time for the season to begin late in the year.
