(Thank God I made amends with Best) I hope to test some of their goodies. Big Air Al already let me ride his 16m Waroo, and I told him it felt great to me. It was a light wind pulling machine which was very stable. I liked it.

Well, my gambling habits (which I recently quit... yes I really did) have apparently rubbed off on Daryl, as he is rolling the dice and trying me out at his shop. We are gonna give it a 2 month trial and both of us want it to work out.
So, feel free to call and harass me for the first couple of weeks. You can call and pretend to be really PISSED and see what I do :wink: or other pranks. Just please quit when I begin to cry!!

Seriously, I hope to do half as good as Pat has done over the past year (which would be like riding half as good as Bill Parker) and as Daryl and Kristin have always done with their shop. I am excited about the opportunity but also nervous. I am mostly nervous about leaving St. Pete. This is my true home town and I feel comfy here.
Although I moved away for about ten years at one point, I have been here now for about 14 yrs straight and grew up here.
Donna is here with a good job and I will be leaving her (for a little while, anyway, til she comes up). That's not easy.
AND alll you guys are here, and whether you fully understand or not, I truly consider you all my second family. Its been so cool watching everyone progress and messing around riding and other things.
With all those considerations however, not taking advantage of this opportunity would be a mistake, and we all know opportunity seldom knocks twice.
I am very excited about the challenges ahead.

It'd be great if it blew here all summer and Donna and you guys did get to ride a bunch after work alot.It's not an impossible hope.
About 8 years ago it blew most afternoons (about 13 to 15). It was a dry summer. Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky. :D

On a side note and WAY off topic, I have the television going and my favorite E-Bone competitor commercial just came on. The dude with the mullet who looks like he belongs at the backside in the bushes with the rest of "them" on the 1-800-ASK-GARY commercial!!! He is classic, what a great commercial!!!
