I hope so. Although I never hold my breath on a forecasted SW (especially without a band of showers to our north).
We'll see.

Am I just imagining it, or does it blow a little stronger up around Honeymoon on SWs? Where is everyone gonna try to ride?

A small, but visible band of showers is forming to our north :D

Let me know where you are riding today once you make the call. Your Bone Bagz are finished.

Sweet :D

That band is getting stronger to our north. It may switch to SSW (it usually does with that band).

It may be that the DeSoto area is "safest" bet for either East beach (ssw) or Big Beach for SW to WSW.

Does that sound reasonable?

I'll see you today at Fort DeSoto, Scott, in all likelihood. I am hoping that the Fox crew shows there, as well.

:D

Yeah, because of the band coming our way it should just "kick" all at once... prolly around 1pm.. just like that sight says. I will be going to DeSoto at around 12:30.

I am going there in case it goes SSW.

Big beach on a SW isn't so choppy, Bryan and the current is often counter, so going upwind is a piece of cake.

Some cool footage could be taken from the end of the pier.

:(

Donna got to ride for about an hour in 13 knots on her 14m TD from about 1 til 2.

SHE had a great time. Then it died and we all sat around.
I still had a very good time out there though. :D

Eric brought out some Killa-Kitten Kitin' bags for us.
One is a kite bag, the other fits my Super Phatty board, perfect.
