This afternoon ( 4pm Mon/May 1) was the best session I had in months.
Heading to the gym saw some white caps, stop at Go Slow just to check the wind, it was, alright! at NNW12-16 kts, called up Muncha and balloon boy, rigged
up and had a beginner launch me, the water was sweeet tide was
low so it was flat and smooth on the inside and 2-5 ft waves on the outside
had a couple of ,alright! airs but the smooth water and waves made up
for the lack of big airs, but then balloon boy pulled up about 5pm in
his new super car ;-) ( that car is bad ass) and the wind came up, the kind
of massive airs I was getting it had to be around 16-18 kts, I could see
balloon boy having a blast riding those waves ;-). Muncha pulled up about
5:30pm, he was getting some sweet airs, I like seeing the big guy getting
those big air and hang times ;-). Of course we had some stunned
on lookers some filming ,some taking pics and some just at aww of the
killer airs. 7pm and we was still riding, it was
a beautiful sight seeing just the silhouette of Balloon boy and Muncha
with the flat kites riding towards the setting sun.By 7:45pm all of us was
done with huge smiles and disbelief of how the wind and day turned out.

Totally sweet sesh.

And I was inches from deciding not to go out- only had my 10m and wave board (new car has 2 glove compartments; a big one and a small one and no trunk) so thats all I could fit in a hurry. Very glad I did and the gear was spot on.

Really tasty. I'm loving the waves (remember; "Trix are for kids") and want to get out to the reef or other locales (Love Beach, Sandy Beach, Sandy Port) for more. Shame the season is over

The best waves are on Paradise and Club Med, I sometime walk out to the
beach to see what the wind is doing and I mean in the back of Atlantis right at the
the end of the beach heading west and by the huge sea wall the
waves get as large as 10ft and higher. But we all know Club Med
is where the real walls of water is, I must admit the waves played a big
roll in why I had such a sweeet time yesterday evening, riding toe side
across the wave while running my fingers through it and racing to reach
the end before it turns over, made for a religious moment,DAMN!! I luv
this sport!

P.s for all you guys that wasn't out yesterday evening you missed a Very!
Very! Very! Very! sweet session and with the summer at our door steps
Maybe the last until the winter, but, if yesterday was the end of good
wind, it went out with a, BOOOM!!!
