The text from youtube:
"One of many reasons to not attempt to teach yourself how to kiteboard....especially with absolutely no prior experience whatsoever."

The guy had inadequate kite control, needed to spend more time with a small trainer kite and with an good pro instructor. He had buried his board with no clue how dangerous and really idiotic trying to take off in that condition is. What he did do was load up with his board anchored for a nice dry land jump. He then initiated some radical kite turns again lofting himself. From the kite response it looks like it might have been on the large side for conditions and certainly for this guys meager skill set. The guy shooting was in hysterics the whole time laughing at his friend's antics. Wonder how funny he would have thought things to be if his friend suffered a bad fracture, paralysis or even death. These have happened under similar circumstances in the past to new kiters playing around with gear they don't understand.

Find and pay for adequate quality pro kiting instruction. It is worth it, for the welfare of bystanders, your health, speed of learning, our access and to keep your gear in once piece.

A classic from the past! Those ATKs were lethal, did a number of "Bruno face drags" with it myself. If they lulled a bit, the kite would wad up like a pile of dirty laundry, drop straight down the wind window. Thing is the lines would tighten up, the kite would suddenly reinflate and yank you on your face and drag you into the power zone. I recall I rigged mine with a leash, I think, this is going back to 1998-99. Still, if you didn't act fast on your face you would go. I see from your video, not only does it stall and drag riders it also pulls your shorts down! An amazing kite for the time.
