"We are having a big Memorial day, with races and just fun kiteboarding on December 8th in Ft. Walton, Florida. It is for the family of Phil "Big Air" Nelson and the battle against Lung Cancer. Phil recently passed away due to Lung Cancer. A
kiteboarder who started back in the beginning. Phil managed a kite shop and had a big impact on getting many people into this great sport! "He will be missed."

I first met Phil in person in Bimini a few years back. He was my roommate during the Neil Pryde Dealer Meeting there. He was a stand up guy and will be missed.
