Mid December Epic Assemblage of the Kiting Community all donning their Santa Suits. Cheap Suits can be aquired at www.nightmarefactory.com (or you can bring your own)....the plan is to attempt the world record ('Record Attempt') of:Most kiteboarders kiting wearing Santa suits!!! Get your suits and wait for last minute weekend instructions in mid December (wind willing!!!) At the very least be ready for a hilarious spectacle. The location will depend on the wind. Most likely Fort Desoto, East Beach, in St. Petersburg, FL.
If you wish to participate Just bring your santa suit and Kite gear. If you wish to film bring your camera gear. There will be print and television media coverage as well as plenty of private coverage. Stay tuned for more details. This is still in the formative stages!!
There's a pre-flight party in Tampa at Ricks on the River, 8pm, Saturday December 8th.
