Neil's Boardercross series is taking off with a vengence and who knows how far it will go. Things are looking good. Jayson's recent Tampa Bay Downwinder now has a notable place in history and will hopefully become an annual race. We were fortunate to have three days of wind during the latest Jupiter Kiteboarding Invasion and the riders went off! Neils historic Bahamas Crossing Race was an incredible experience and I suspect the turnout will be even stronger for the next event. Riders had a great time in the fall in St. Augustine thanks to the guys at Extreme Kites, looking forward to more of the same this year. Miamikiteboarding's Kite4Girls is coming up in April and has officially gone CoEd to some degree with lots of events and boardercross to boot. Even A.J. is having a non-event, casual gathering of riders up at Valkaria near Melbourne (Happy Birthday A.J.!).

There is lots going on and a few months left to our traditional (useable) windy season. I suspect Neil will keep riders busy with a continuing series of boardercross races in different venues. Are there some other downwinders that folks would like to run?

Doing something along sections of the Keys has an appeal although the wind demands can get a bit tricky.

A small day off the inlet

A wave event off of Ft. Pierce could be epic with the right conditions. Other ideas out there?
