By the end of December Kitesports Kitesurfaris will be organizing the SA champs indoor kiting at the Cape Town Greenpoint stadium.

In cooperation with Ozone we will be hosting this event from the 28th of December till the 31st of December.

Have they run a practical indoor kitesurfing event yet? They used to do indoor windsurfing back in the day, even developed gear for it. I just checked online and except for some guys launching and stalling a foil downwind of a fan and some people suspended from wires getting pelted with buckets of water, I didn't find anything. The trick is to develop a kiteable wind field up around 15 to perhaps as much as 30 m? Windsurfing demanded a lot lower wind field. Have they done this yet? Thanks!
