From November till December there will be another World Record Attempt in Luderitz Namibia. The main goal for the kiter’s there is to break the 60 knots barrier. With a channel as in the picture the water will be extremely smooth but will it be possible to improve the current WR by over 4 knots? What do you think?

I had never seen an overall aerial of the racing trench they excavated. Didn't know they had some fairly high land relief so close by. The turbulence and wind gusts/lulls from land wind shadow must get out of control at times.

All success in the new record attempt!
