Never been to Ivans but I've been to Foxy's on the next bay to east side of White Bay on Jost Van Dike a couple of times, Sandy Spit offshore to the east too. I was windsurfing the first time but took kite gear the second time. The trades are primarily out of the east and pass over the highest part of Tortola just upwind before going over that area. This means it is pretty gusty with all that rotor. I didn't bother to set up the kite while I was on Sandy Spit due to the uneven winds which make windsurfing hard enough. Also, launching in White Bay could be tricky with most of it in the lee of the point to the east. I recall being unable to windsurf out of the bay containing Foxy's as it was too much in the lee. For a setting for some nice camping and hanging it Ivans looks like a great place.

You are welcome. I had the best luck kiting in the BVI with a support boat for offshore kite launch and/or recovery. There are so many high islands with headlands to disturb the trades that it is good to be able to kite away from them in cleaner air. Anegada is an exception to this in some measure being a pretty low island with no real obstructions to windward.
