St. Pete Paddle Race-May 19th

Come out and race in the Water Monkey Challenge to see who is the ultimate Water Monkey! The Water Monkey Challenge will include an 8 mile elite race, 3 mile fun race, 1 mile kids race and team relay races.

Board classes include m/f surfboard, 12'6, 14' and unlimited.
Must be at least 3 competitors to make a class for awards.

There will also be prone, outrigger, surf ski and anything else you want to paddle categories! Must have 3 competitors to be eligible for awards.

FRIDAY, MAY 18TH

5-7 pm-Pro clinic with Chase Kosterlitz at Spa Beach next to the Pier. Register online below.

6-8 pm-Pre registration party at Jonny Reno's on the Pier. Register online early to save money!!!


SATURDAY, MAY 19TH

9 am -Captains meeting to review race courses and rules. YOU MUST HAVE A PFD ON BOARD!

10 am-ELITE race start with FUN race immediately following.

12 pm-Last competitors finish. Start of KIDS race.

1 pm-Team relay race. Teams of 4 paddlers with at least 1 female will compete for free beer!

2 pm -Lunch and awards party at Jonny Reno's on the Pier

Chase, thanks for the great event! Tons of fun for sure...

It brought up a lot of memories and made a lot of new ones.
[I can't believe I forgot my paddle in the water when running thru the finish line :)]

Take it easy on the beer in Germany, it's a real one which gets you drunk pretty damn quick.
