Race is cancelled

The race committee for the Kite4Kids downwind race has decided it is in everyone's best interest to cancel the race.

The forecast is now showing SW winds most of the day with an approaching storm in the afternoon/eve.

We just can't take any chance having riders in the water with a storm of this size approaching.

Take a moment to look at a radar and one can see how this is developing.

We will continue to look for suitable conditions to run this race throughout the rest of 2012 and will use the 72, 48, 24 hour notice format.
